Wendy Ray – Honorary Director and Chair of Trustees
Wendy is Director and founder of Hands of Compassion School since its start in March 2000. She has had a varied career within the Education Department, assessing children with special educational needs and then later as Training Manager, before culminating in becoming a Management Development Consultant within the Local Authority and also for Henley Management College.
Wendy lived in Zambia for three years, where she set up the school and is fully committed to driving forward Hands of Compassion. She is also a Trustee on the Zambian Board of Trustees for Hands of Compassion School.
Sue Algeo teaches at St Dunstan’s College where she runs the International Baccalaureate programme. She is a Lay Reader at her local church and on the Court of The Worshipful Company of World Traders , a City Livery Company where she also sits on the Education Committee. Her love of all things African springs from the two years she spent teaching in Kenya as a VSO.
